The principal goal of the Petit Pilates© method for Pros courses is to train people who wish to provide Petit Pilates© activities in educational environments (whether in schools, clubs or a private studio), as well as professionals looking to broaden their skills (psychomotor specialists, physiotherapists, etc.).
This training seeks to provide them with the knowledge and skills to design and conduct group and individual sessions based on the Petit Pilates© method, and to evaluate their impact (motor, methodology or social learning, etc.). The courses cover technical movements, and temporo-spatial, tonic and sensory-motor postures for children and adolescents.

Details of the modules
MODULE 1 – Tools and training (8 hours)
At the end of this course, you will:
Understand the basic principles of the Petit Pilates© method and its specific positionings, and be able to teach them
Know how to do and sequence the Petit Pilates© Game postures, and master the rules of the game
Be able to recognise positioning or performance errors of the participants, and correct them
Learn Pilates tools that can be used in other types of physical activity or rehabilitation by qualified professionals
MODULE 2 - Methodology and facilitation (8 hours)
At the end of this training, you will:
Know how to assess your audience: understand the needs and wishes of children/families, respect the school rhythm, evaluate changes during the year, encourage the participation of children in the evaluation
Manage groups for a specific activity: create groups based on age, diversity and inclusion
Explain the principles and methodology: information for parents/school, course logistics
Be able to design and offer high quality, individual and group Petit Pilates© sessions, at school, online or in a studio, with the Petit Pilates© Game, challenges and small equipment
Understand the biomechanics of movements and their various options, so that you can adapt them to the level and goals of a young audience in a school or extracurricular setting: lead a course program based on the level of learning, with a specific theme around the game, in the studio or online; and create steadily advancing courses using the method and the game
MODULE 3 - Prevention and advancement (8 hours)
At the end of this training, you will:
Master the communication tools: the Petit Pilates© lexicon, podcasts, pictograms, gestures, support of objects, body cues, etc.
Be able to build a learning progression by adapting to your audience
Engage in an approach of prevention and openness towards specific audiences
Know and master the performance of postures to build “adaptive” sessions through play
Methods
Remote: 100% online training
Face-to-face: training in the presence of the trainees at the place provided for by the training

This course alone does not allow you to be issued a Professional card in France, nor does it exempt you from holding one of the diplomas or certificates needed to meet course prerequisites.
Training validation
At the end of the course, trainees will receive a certificate of completion

Qualitative evaluation of the training
At the end of the course, the trainees will receive a satisfaction form, in order to measure their overall appreciation of the course organisation and support, the teaching skills of the trainers, and the methods, resources and supports used.

Online courses will be organised by the Petit Pilates trainer via Zoom from the studio in Annecy (74).
For in-person training, the trainer will inform you of the address for your session.
